About The Clinic
Hopkins Memorial Ultrasound Scan Centre was established in the year 1987.
We have been performing a wide range of diagnostic Ultrasound procedures.
For the past few years, we have dedicated towards imaging of Anal Canal and Perineum .
Consultant: Dr. R. Shankar MD., DMRD.
Dr. Shankar has been the consultant since the inception of the centre. He is also a consultant Ultrasonologist at St. Philomena's Hospital, Bangalore.
Procedures
The centre is equipped with high resolution state-of-the-art Ultrasound scanning machine with wide array of ultrasound probes for the entire gamut of diagnostic Ultrasound procedures.

Presently our main focus is on mapping of fistula in ano and also scanning of the perineum.

How to book an appointment
Scans are conducted from Monday to Friday.

The instructions for the respective scans will be given by the representatives at the time of booking.

Walk-in patients will have to take their respective turns depending on the availability of the slot.

What to expect
01
Average Time Required
Scanning procedures are tailor-made for every individual and hence will be difficult to estimate the scan time before the procedure.
On an average the scan time is approximately 30 minutes.

We advice people to keep a free time for about 3 hours when they come for the procedure, which includes waiting for the procedure, scanning and reporting.

Reports will be given following the scan.

Preparation
Sono Fistulogram, scanning of the perineum and musculoskeletal ultrasound do not require any preparation.
For other scans, preparations will be told by the representatives at the time of booking the appointment

costs
Each procedure will cost Rs.3500 - Rs.4000 and we expect patients to pay cash.
We do not accept debit/credit cards.

Parking
As the center is located in a busy neighbourhood, at times finding a parking spot could be a challenge.
